Cluster and Air Ion Spectrometer

Stockholm University plan to procure a Cluster and Air Ion Spectrometer. The instrument will be placed at our measurement station on Svalbard (at Zeppelin observatory) to detect and quantify atmospheric ions and clusters.

For the study of the importance of atmospheric ions and clusters in the process of new particle formation and to study their role in cloud formation.
