The purpose of the Detector portal 3 is to perform X-ray imaging (radiography) and fluorescence measurements. This equipment is for the X-ray radiography. The intent is to have the possibility to perform high-resolution imaging and high frame rate imaging with the same instrument, either with 2 motorized switchable setups (option 1) or by manual changing (option 2).
