The role of national substance classification lists in the implementation of GHS

The overall aim of the study is to analyse to what extent substance classification lists can play a role to promote implementation of the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS) in national legislation. The study will focus on a limited set of countries that either have or have not implemented GHS as well as countries with or without guiding or legally binding lists of substances classified in accordance with the GHS criteria.
