Request for tender: Single photon detectors
Description of goods/services
We intend to purchase two single photon detectors for measuring single photons
(emitted from localized excitonic states in quantum emitters) in the visible wavelength range
between 400-1000nm with high detection efficiency.
Requirements specifications of goods/services
The purchase must include the following products/commitments/services:
We require two single photon detectors:
-photon detection technology: Si-APD or other
-photon detection wavelength range: at least between 400-1000 nanometer
-photon detection efficiency at 500nm (without fiber adapter): >30%
-photon detection efficiency at 650nm (without fiber adapter): >60%
-photon detection efficiency at 800nm (without fiber adapter): >55%
-photon detection efficiency at 900nm (without fiber adapter): >35%
-photon detection timing resolution: 400 picoseconds or smaller
-electric output signal: TTL high with at least 1.5V, but maximal 3.3V
-electric output signal: pulse width between 5 nanoseconds and 15 nanoseconds
-dark count rate: maximally 50 counts per second
-maximal detectable count rate (before saturation): 10 mega counts per second or higher
-dead time: below 25 nanoseconds
-after pulse probability: below 1%
-optical input: fiber-pigtail FC connector
-specify warranty duration and the extent of the warranty
Price
Price shall be submitted in SEK excluding VAT or in EURO excluding VAT (please state currency conversion rate EUR in SEK and date of retrieval) and include all related costs requested in this request for tender.
Agreement terms
The supplier must accept all agreement terms.
Tender submission
The tender must be received no later than 2020-05-29
The tender shall be valid until 2020-06-29
Evaluation of tenders
The most economically advantageous tender (i.e. an assessment of price, performance, quality) will be chosen.
Description of the criteria that will be assessed (in the prioritized order):
1) Price
2) Performance
3) Delivery time
4) Quality
Confidentiality and the freedom of information principle
After the procurement has been terminated the principle of public access to official records applies. This means that all documents related to the procurement process become public and may be disclosed to anyone who requests access to them. Exceptions may only be made if there is any specific reason to believe that the Tenderer may suffer damage if the information is disclosed.
