The division of Building Technology, Department of Architecture and Civil engineering, Chalmers University of Technology would like to purchase a Rotational viscometer, and hereby invites quotes for suitable instruments that meet our needs.
Requirements specifications of goods/services
The purchase must include the following products/commitments/services:
Rotational viscometer for testing of clay and cementitious materials.
Reference calibration kit
Delivered assembled
Including a set of spindles. With dedicated box/stand for storage.
The spindle should be easily exchanged
The viscometer must be equipped with a spindle guard
Easy cleaning and not dust sensitive
Self-centering sample cup holder
Temperature monitoring of sample (-60°C – 300°C +/- 0,5°C)
Live display of results
USB or RS-344 interface for logging of current readings
Startup time should be less than: 300s
Delivered with a factory calibration certificate
Free start-up support via phone

Viscosity range: 0.1 – 300 000 Pa.s
Speed: 0.01 - 250 rpm
Max. spring torque: 5 mN.m
Accuracy: ±1.0 % full scale range
Repeatability: ±0.2 %
Price
Price shall be submitted in SEK excluding VAT and include all related costs requested in this request for tender.
Agreement terms
The supplier must accept all agreement terms.
Tender submission
The tender must be received no later than [2019-07-18]. The tender shall be valid until [2019-08-31].
Evaluation of tenders
The most economically advantageous tender (i.e. an assessment of price, quality, service etc.) will be chosen.

Confidentiality and the freedom of information principle
After the procurement has been terminated the principle of public access to official records applies. This means that all documents related to the procurement process become public and may be disclosed to anyone who requests access to them. Exceptions may only be made if there is any specific reason to believe that the Tenderer may suffer damage if the information is disclosed.
