Description of goods/services

We intend to purchase a motorized transfer system for assembling two-dimensional materials. The system must include an optical microscope system with a connected camera and a PC-controlled and motorized mechanical transfer system.

Requirements specifications of goods/services

The purchase must include the following products/commitments/services:

Optical microscope operating in bright-field and reflection mode with the following specifications:

-three microscope objectives with magnifications of 5x, 10x, 20x for imaging of 2D layers

-long working distance microscope objective with a magnification of 50x

-upright microscope incl. CCD camera and eyepieces

-motorized adjustment of focus

-motorized revolving nosepiece

-bright LED illumination of the sample

-CCD camera: color with at least 1.3 megapixel and USB3 PC connection and frame rate faster than 100fps

-image acquisition software

Motorized mechanical transfer system consisting of:

(1) The sample holder/vacuum chuck is mounted on

(1a) a motorized XY-axes translation stage with 50mm travel range with sub-micrometer fine movement and

(1b) a motorized continuous rotation stage with a resolution at least or better than 0.001° and

(1c) a motorized Z-axis translation stage with a 10mm travel range and 10nm fine resolution.

(1d) The temperature of the sample holder can be stabilized to 0.1°C or better up to a temperature of 180°C. The sample holder can be cooled with a Peltier cooler.

(2) An independent upper holder (e.g. glass plate) on 

(2a) a motorized XY-axes translation stage with 50mm travel range and

(2b) tiltable in the XZ and YZ planes.

PC-control:

-The system should be delivered with a PC and the necessary software to control the microscope, camera, and motorized translation stages.

Options:

-automatic scan function/automatic 2D layer recognition software: the PC-program finds monolayers automatically with optimized color contrast

Warranty:

-specify the warranty duration and the extent of the warranty.

Price

The price shall be submitted in SEK excluding VAT or in EURO excluding VAT (please state currency conversion rate EUR in SEK and date of retrieval) and include all related costs requested in this request for tender.

Agreement terms

The supplier must accept all agreement terms.

Tender submission

The tender must be received no later than 30 April 2020.

The tender shall be valid until 30 May 2020.

Evaluation of tenders

The most economically advantageous tender (i.e. an assessment of price, performance,

quality) will be chosen.

Confidentiality and the freedom of information principle

After the procurement has been terminated the principle of public access to official records applies. This means that all documents related to the procurement process become public and may be disclosed to anyone who requests access to them. Exceptions may only be made if there is any specific reason to believe that the Tenderer may suffer damage if the information is disclosed.
