Fully automated optical microscope equipped for live cell fluorescence imaging of bacterial samples. The microscope will be used in studies of the molecular mechanisms of antibiotic action and resistance in living bacteria with the aim to improve the fundamental knowledge of how antibiotics interact with bacterial cells.
