Multi-mode microplate reader

Requirements specifications of goods/services

The purchase must meet the following criteria:

1. Must be able to read fluorescence (Fl) and absorbance (Abs), with full spectrum in absorbance mode, in 96 and 384 well format.

2. Must have reading both from top and bottom. Switching between top and bottom reading must be software-controlled only.

3. Must be possible to program both endpoint measurements and kinetic runs over at least 7 days with continuous shaking.

4. Must be equipped with reinforced microplate carrier for continuous (over at least 7 days) long-term shaking.

5. Must have a photomultiplier tube (PMT) detector in the range: 240-740 nm with the option for a second detector between 240-900nm.

6. Must have variable bandwidth between 10-100 nm in steps of <10 nm.

7. Must have at least 6 positions for fixed filters both on excitation and emission.

8. Limit of detection must be better than 0.2 fM/well fluorescein with fixed filters.

9. Absorbance range must be minimum 220-1000 nm with variable resolution.

10. Read time of a 96 well plate, at two wavelengths or more, should be as fast as possible, preferably less than 10 seconds with 1 flash.

11. Must be equipped for linear, orbital, and double-orbital shaking with user-definable time and speed

12. Must be able to provide stable, user-definable temperature control from +4 °C above ambient temperature up to 45 °C.

13. Must have the possibility to later install an atmospheric control unit to regulate O2 and CO2 in ranges 0.1-20%

14. Should have the possibility for at least one light protected reagent injector with less than 35 µl dead volume.

15. Control and data analysis software must be included without license restrictions.

16. Installation and customer training must be included.

Price

Price shall be submitted in SEK excluding VAT and include all related costs requested in this request for tender.

Agreement terms

The supplier must accept all agreement terms.

Tender submission

The tender must be received no later than 20221125

The tender shall be valid until 20221220

Evaluation of tenders

The most economically advantageous tender (i.e. an assessment of price, quality, service etc.) will be chosen.

Confidentiality and the freedom of information principle

After the procurement has been terminated the principle of public access to official records applies. This means that all documents related to the procurement process become public and may be disclosed to anyone who requests access to them. Exceptions may only be made if there is any specific reason to believe that the Tenderer may suffer damage if the information is disclosed.
