Multi-mode microplate reader

Requirements specifications of goods/services

The purchase should meet the following criteria:

1. Must be able to read fluorescence (Fl), absorbance (Abs) in 6, 12, 24, 48, 96 and 384 well formats.

2. Should include 4-6 filters for excitation and emission.

3. Abs range should be minimum 220-1000 nm with variable resolution.

4. Photomultiplier tube (PMT) detector range should be at least 240-740 nm, with the option for a second detector between 240-900nm.

5. Should have reading both from top and bottom. Switching between top and bottom reading should be software-controlled only.

6. A full Abs spectrum of a well should be captured as fast as possible, preferably in less than 1 second.

7. A high limit of detection in Fl is desirable, preferably at least 2 pM (molar concentration, corresponding to 0.2 fmol in 100 uL sample volume) per well FITC.

8. Must be possible to program both endpoint measurements and kinetic runs over at least 7 days.

9. Must be able to provide stable, user-definable temperature control from +4 °C above ambient temperature up to 45 °C.

10. Should have the possibility for at least one light protected reagent injector with individual injection volumes for each well. Should be able to detect signal simultaneously with reagent injection.

11. Should be able to detect two separate emission wavelengths in one single run.

12. Should have at least three different well scanning modes.

13. Should have the possibility to later install an atmospheric control unit to regulate O2 and CO2 in ranges 0.1-20%.

14. Control and data analysis software must be included without license restrictions.

15. Installation and customer training should be included.

16. The warranty period should be minimum 2 years, covering labor and parts.

17. An option to purchase a service contract to cover maintenance after the warranty period is desirable.

Price

Price shall be submitted in SEK excluding VAT and include all related costs requested in this request for tender.

Agreement terms

The supplier must accept all agreement terms.

The tender shall be valid until 20230201

Evaluation of tenders

The most economically advantageous tender (i.e. an assessment of price, quality, service etc.) will be chosen.

Confidentiality and the freedom of information principle

After the procurement has been terminated the principle of public access to official records applies. This means that all documents related to the procurement process become public and may be disclosed to anyone who requests access to them. Exceptions may only be made if there is any specific reason to believe that the Tenderer may suffer damage if the information is disclosed.

If you have information that you feel is of such nature, your tender shall include precise details of which information should remain confidential, and how you would suffer damage in case of the public disclosure of this information.
