Advanced optical microscope with nano-positioning system

This procurement is made on behalf of the Department of Physics, Division of Chemical Physics, at

Chalmers University of Technology, Göteborg, Sweden.

The tender request is for an advanced optical microscope with nano-positioning system.

The purpose of the procurement of the microscope system is to develop an imaging technique, which

allows for label-free detection/imaging of a single biomolecule inside a nanofluidic structure. To achieve

this, the Chalmers research group needs to go beyond the performance characteristics of conventional

commercially available optical microscopes by designing and optimizing a specialized experimental

setup adapted for this purpose.
