Terahertz Quantum Cascade Laser

Chalmers require an instrument that can be used for the generation of frequency-stable focused beam electromagnetic radiation in the THz frequency domain. The instrument will be used for the characterization of THz components for various sensing applications, e.g., in astronomy, medtech, and communication. The equipment will be a key instrument in the Kollberg Laboratory, an open-access national infrastructure for microwave, millimeter-wave, and terahertz characterization.
